How do you write TXT and the members' names in Korean?
TXT is written 투바투 in Korean, the short form Korean fans use for 투모로우바이투게더 (TOMORROW X TOGETHER). The BIGHIT MUSIC group debuted on March 4, 2019, and its five members are 수빈 (Soobin), 연준 (Yeonjun), 범규 (Beomgyu), 태현 (Taehyun) and 휴닝카이 (Hueningkai). All five renewed their contracts with BIGHIT MUSIC, and 7TH YEAR, their eighth mini album, came out in April 2026 as their first full-group album since the renewal.
Our app translates fan messages from 28 languages into Korean, and the group name is a part our pipeline already gets right. TXT, txt and TOMORROW X TOGETHER came back as 투바투 in all 9 runs, and even the romanized Tubatu came back right in all 3. The members' names held too, on their own, listed together, or with family names such as 최연준 (Choi Yeonjun) and 강태현 (Kang Taehyun), in every run before this week's MOA rule. With the rule, Beomgyu came back as 민규, SEVENTEEN's Mingyu, in 3 of 27 runs of one plural sentence. The lines below write the group and the members the same way.
- With TXT, I look forward to tomorrow — 투바투와 함께라면 내일이 기다려져요 Make this into a card
- Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Hueningkai, I'm cheering for you today too — 수빈, 연준, 범규, 태현, 휴닝카이, 오늘도 응원해요 Make this into a card
- Thanks to TXT, I'm learning Korean — 투바투 덕분에 한국어를 배우고 있어요 Make this into a card
- The five of you shine brighter together — 다섯 명이 함께라서 더 빛나요 Make this into a card
What does MOA (모아) mean?
MOA, written 모아 in Korean, is TXT's fandom name, confirmed on August 22, 2019. It stands for Moments Of Alwaysness, the moments TXT and their fans share, always, and it also echoes the Korean verb 모으다, to gather, as in gathering the pieces of a dream into one. In Korean it stays 모아 for one fan or for all of them.
Until this week our translator wrote the name two ways. Singular MOA in English, Spanish, Filipino and Japanese sentences came back as 모아 in 27 of 27 runs. Plurals did not: “MOAs all over the world love you, TXT” came back with 에이티니, the ATEEZ fandom name, in 4 of 8 runs, and in the German “Wir MOAs aus Berlin warten auf euch, TXT!” MOA stayed in Latin letters in 8 of 8. With the rule we added this week, those two sentences come back as 모아 in every run, on the live site too, and seven sentences our rule never shows as examples, in seven languages, went from 48 to 56 of 56. Plurals are not perfect yet, and we would rather say so: in three plural sentences, 6 of 48 runs still slip, three times to 모아즈, twice to 에이티니 and once to a misspelling, and two of those sentences came back right before the rule. The lines below use the name the way MOA write it in Korean.
- MOA are always on TXT's side — 모아는 언제나 투바투 편이에요 Make this into a card
- Every moment with TXT is precious — 투바투와 함께하는 모든 순간이 소중해요 Make this into a card
- MOA all over the world are cheering for you — 세계 어디서든 모아가 응원하고 있어요 Make this into a card
- Being MOA makes me so happy — 모아라서 정말 행복해요 Make this into a card
How do you cheer TXT on for the tour and PERFECT STORM in Korean?
TXT's world tour STEAL THE WIND opens at KSPO DOME in Seoul on November 13 to 15, 2026, and on November 16 at 6 p.m. Korean time comes PERFECT STORM, their ninth mini album, led by the title track Angel Bite. At the shows, MOA hold up the official lightstick, which fans call 모아봉 (moabong), MOA plus 봉, “stick”; a BIGHIT MUSIC notice on Weverse uses the name too.
Our translator already wrote moabong as 모아봉 in 62 of 63 runs, until the first draft of our MOA rule turned “I finally got my moabong today” into 빙키봉, the NewJeans lightstick, in 3 of 3 runs. We added the lightstick to the same rule line, and 모아봉 came back in every run again, including in a sentence the rule never shows, on the live site too. Titles mostly come through: PERFECT STORM, Angel Bite and Sugar Rush Ride came back as 퍼펙트 스톰, 엔젤 바이트 and 슈가 러시 라이드 in all 3 runs each. The exception is 0X1=LOVESONG, which stayed in Latin letters in every run, and Latin letters cannot be written on a Hangul-only card. If you name that song, write it in Hangul yourself, or start from the lines below, which keep every word in Hangul.
- I'll be with you to the end, holding my Moabong — 모아봉 들고 끝까지 함께할게요 Make this into a card
- Congratulations on releasing PERFECT STORM — 퍼펙트 스톰 발매 정말 축하해요 Make this into a card
- I'm so excited for the Angel Bite performance — 엔젤 바이트 무대가 정말 기대돼요 Make this into a card
- MOA will cheer for you all the way through this world tour too — 이번 월드투어도 모아가 끝까지 응원할게요 Make this into a card
