Universal NewJeans lines
The trickiest part of a NewJeans letter happens before the first sentence: several members have non-Korean given names, so each has to be transliterated into Hangul by sound, not spelling. There's no letter-for-letter rule — you match Korean syllable blocks to how the name is actually said, then attach 언니, the honorific for any older female idol. One line per NewJeans member
Pick your bias. Each line uses the Korean given name with 언니 (older sister, used by all fans toward female idols). 하니 (Hanni, Vietnamese-Korean) and 다니엘 (Danielle, Australian-Korean) are non-Korean given names rendered in Hangul, while 민지 / 해린 / 혜인 are native Korean — but 언니 attaches cleanly to all five.
