How do you say happy 20th anniversary in Korean?
BIGBANG debuted on 19 August 2006, which puts the twentieth anniversary in August 2026. The Korean for it is 이십 주년 — and how you write that matters more here than on any other card we publish. Our handwriting grid and our card grid both keep Hangul and spaces and drop everything else: there is no stroke-order data and no syllable cell for a digit or a roman letter. On most fan cards that never comes up. On this one it comes up twice. Type 20주년 and the card receives 주년 — "anniversary," with the twenty gone. VIP disappears entirely, and so does BIGBANG.
So every line below takes the long way round: 이십 주년 and 스무 해 rather than 20, 빅뱅 rather than BIGBANG. In Korean they read exactly the same. The difference is that these survive the trip to the card.

What is the BIGBANG light stick called in Korean?
It is 뱅봉 — a yellow crown with a B on it, designed by G-Dragon and the reason every other fandom has a light stick at all. 뱅봉 is Hangul, so it reaches the card intact, which is not something we can say about the fandom's own name. There is one place we keep roman letters on purpose: BTS and TXT stay in Latin in our translation prompt, because forcing them into Hangul made the model invent names instead. 빅뱅 needs no such exception — the Korean spelling is settled and writable. VIP is the opposite case. Korean VIPs write the three roman letters, there is no established Hangul form, and 브이아이피 is nobody's idea of a natural sentence.
That is why none of these lines put the fandom name in the fan's own words. It is the one thing this card cannot carry, so the lines carry the crown and the light instead.

Lines for twenty years as a VIP
Twenty years is long enough that plenty of VIPs are now the members' age or older, and in English the instinct is to loosen up — to write the way you would to someone you grew up alongside. Korean does not hand you that as a neutral option, and our translator does not either: it pins one polite register for everything, with casual forms reserved for fixed idioms. That constraint turns out to suit a twentieth anniversary. Warmth in Korean does not come from dropping the polite ending; it comes from what you say inside it.
